More profit, less risk with your water allocation - FarmReady* approved seminar
Greeneye.com Pty. Ltd. in conjunction with Bendigo TAFE, have designed a program to provide farmers involved in water trading with a better understanding of the water market in the Lower Murray Darling Basin. It will enable better decision making when buying, selling or using water allocation and assist irrigators with their water allocation needs. The program will outline likely market scenarios and use case studies to formulate sensible water trading strategies.

Fees
One day introduction course: $500.00.
*FarmReady provides funding to eligible participants.
A reimbursement grant of up to $1500.00 is available per financial year. The reimbursement grant covers the training course costs for participants in approved training courses. Additionally, reimbursement of associated reasonable costs in attending approved training may be covered under the FarmReady program, and can be claimed separately from the $1500.00 reimbursement grant. Who is eligible for FarmReady?
Primary producers are defined as:
- Owner/operators of a primary production enterprise (farming, fishing and forestry), as determined by the Australian Taxation Office or
- Management positions of a primary production enterprise (farming, fishing and forestry), as determined by the Australian Taxation Office
- The immediate family of the owner/operator of a primary production enterprise (farming, fishing and forestry), as determined by the Australian Taxation Office
Indigenous land managers are defined as:
- Those involved in the management decisions for Indigenous lands that are zoned for rural purposes or
- Outside existing control plan areas, if the land is owned, managed, controlled or operated by an Indigenous community, corporation or trust or
- An Aborigine or Torres Strait Islander
