General Description

This qualification covers the skills and knowledge you will need for a position of responsibility as a technical officer in a laboratory or similar workplace where analytical tests are conducted.

Prerequisites of Qualifications / Experience Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory), or appropriate workplace experience.
Other Entry Requirements

To complete the Diploma of Laboratory Technology it is desirable to be working in a laboratory at the required performance level.
