General Description

This qualification covers the skills and knowledge you will need for a position of responsibility as a technical officer in a laboratory or similar workplace where analytical tests are conducted.

Classes are offered for all course units, there is an opportunity to complete some units at your place of work. Units can be chosen to reflect your particular industry and workplace requirements.

Australian Apprenticeship Options May be offered as a Traineeship
Prerequisites of Qualifications / Experience Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory), or appropriate workplace experience.
Other Entry Requirements

To complete the Diploma of Laboratory Technology it is desirable to be working in a laboratory at the required performance level.
