General Description

This course aims to prepare you for employment in barista/bar operations in a range of hospitality enterprises.  Topics include the responsible service of alcohol, the duties of the bartender and the preparation and service of espresso coffee.

This course is suitable for people who are working within the Hospitality Industry and desire to receive accreditation or, wishing to be employed within the Hospitality Industry.

This program is delivered 2 evenings per week.

 

Accreditation This course is accredited by Bendigo TAFE and contains some units which have National Recognition. For further information please speak to the course coordinator or teacher.
Prerequisites of Qualifications / Experience

The Responsible Service of Alcohol requires participants to be 18 years of age.

All participants must wear fully enclosed footwear.

Ideally, participants should possess a passion for the Hospitality Industry.

Further Study Options The units listed in this program are all Nationally Accredited, thus successful completion of these units will align to Certificate III Hospitality Operations.
