| General Description |
This course will broaden your administrative knowledge and skills in a wide variety of administration contexts for many different industries and organisations. The course is aimed at those who would like to become a team leader or specialist administration professional. You need to enjoy working through unpredictable problems and be able to analyse and evaluate information from different sources and areas as well as give guidance to other staff members.

The course is delivered in many different ways such as:

Classroom based during the day, full time – Planned for February to June 2009.

Multi Mode, self paced learning with a classroom facilitator once a week – February to November 2009.

Distance Learning – Starting at any time during the year, with support via email and phone from a tutor.

Traineeships - 24 months
The course is around 465 hours depending on the subject/units chosen. |

| Prerequisites of Qualifications / Experience |
Next to good numeracy and literacy skills, you require an intermediate level of Microsoft Office skills and you need:
- Work experience in a business environment at Certificate III level OR
- Successful completion of Certificate III in Business Administration or other relevant qualification OR
- High VCE results

Access to the Internet and email as well as access to a computer with Microsoft 2007 applications.
